We hope to encourage local residents of Southdown and Whiteway to become active in their local community whilst enjoying the wonderful green spaces which are on their doorsteps.

We’re working to improve habitat and biodiversity in Whiteway Green around the Peace Path at the southern tip of the park (dates.belt.keen on What3Words) and we’re helping out the Whiteway Community Association with their new Memorial Garden (school.basket.duck on What3Words) near the main park entrance. Funded by Your Park Community Fund

Park Life is a collaboration between ‘Blooming Whiteway’, ‘Whiteway Residents Association’, ‘St Barnabas Church’ and ‘Southdown & Whiteway Church and Community Partnership’ – after each session we continue in conversation over tea and cake at the Methodist Church Centre.
